The village of La Cala has typically Spanish narrow streets housing many shops, bars and restaurants as well as supermarkets on walkining distance, for all your holiday needs.The shops are open from 9.30am to 1.30pm and again in the evening from 5.30 to 7.30pm.

Although there are no night-clubs in the village many of the bars are open late, but for those wishing to sample Spanish night life Marbella is a short trip along the coast, with the famous Puerto Banus nearby.

The beach is close no matter where in the village you stay and there are five golf courses within a ten minute drive. For those fancying a flutter the new Costa del Sol Racecourse is only a few kilometres away.
